Government's Purpose

What is the “Purpose” of our government? Whywasit created? To answer that question we must discover what caused its creation, so let’s begin at the source. Before our Constitution, before the Federalists Papers or the Anti-Federalist Papers, the first official American document was produced. The Declaration of Independence. The abuses and strife that our forefathers bore in the years leading up to what many described as a desperate act, of desperate men, may well be seen through the shadow of history as unique to the era, but were they?



Reflect on the true role of government and the ongoing need to advocate for and protect individual rights as envisioned by the Founding Fathers


What is the “Purpose” of our government? Whywasit created? To answer that question we must discover what caused its creation, so let’s begin at the source. Before our Constitution, before the Federalists Papers or the Anti-Federalist Papers, the first official American document was produced. The Declaration of Independence. The abuses and strife that our forefathers bore in the years leading up to what many described as a desperate act, of desperate men, may well be seen through the shadow of history as unique to the era, but were they?


*He has refused his Assent to Laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good.

For clarification; “Assent” per Webster’s 1828 definition: “We assent to a proposition, but we do not consent to it.”


*For depriving us in many cases, of the benefits of Trial by Jury:


*For taking away our Charters, abolishing our most valuable Laws, and altering fundamentally the Forms of our Governments:


*He has obstructed the Administration of Justice, by refusing his Assent to Laws for establishing Judiciary powers.


*He has made Judges dependent on his Will alone, for the tenure of their offices, and the amount and payment of their salaries.


*He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harrass our people, and eat out their substance.


*He has combined with others to subject us to a jurisdiction foreign to our constitution, and unacknowledged by our laws; giving his Assent to their Acts of pretended Legislation.


It is incumbent for all who enjoy the bounty provided us by such bold men and women, to read the full text of the Declaration Of Independence. You will find reliability between today and this Two Hundred and Forty Eight year old document.


We now know what propelled the movement, but not answered the question; What's It For!?


Returning to the first cornerstone laid in the foundation of our country, the Declaration Of INDEPENDENCE; “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.-- That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed,--That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.”

Footnote: “unalienable” is una’ lien’ able. I.E. can not be indentured or transferred. Think of a property “lien”.


Let’s parse this out, multiple, extremely important, principles are defined in the beginning sentence, put into modern jargon states; 1) It is obvious that all mankind are equally created by God, in the image of God and blessed directly by God, with rights inherent to their very creation. These Godgiven rights can not be separated, nor transferred, from God’s creation, and 2) These principles of God-given rights are of such importance to cause mankind to institute government to insure those rights are forever secured. 3) The only source of power available to the people-created government, are those powers freely and knowingly granted to it by the creators, we the people. 4) Should there come a time when the creation (the Government) ceases to demonstrate as its highest priority, securing the rights of the People, or deems itself greater than the creators (the People), it is inherently within the rights of the People to change the Government to bring it back to the original intent of the creators, We The People.


Our Founding Fathers defined the PRIMARY PURPOSEof our Government to be TO SECURE THERIGHTSoftheCitizens of these United States. Reading the Federalist Papers and the Anti-Federalist Papers, publicly published, reveal much about the mindset of the Founders. Written to bring forward the raging debate occurring throughout drafting of the specific wording of our Constitution, much more is exposed than is specifically written. That is the clear understanding that any action not centered around the primary purpose for which Government was created, was, by nature, traitorous. It is also evidenced the drafters understood the adversarial relationship being created between We The People and the Government. Creation of a government whose only source of power was the people, and the only powers granted to the Government were those specifically enumerated (named).


Throughout these debates, government becoming the enemy of our freedom becomes a theme. In a famous quote attributed to Thomas Jefferson, the author of our Declaration Of Independence; ”to bind them with the constraints of the Constitution, preventing them from misusing their authority.” Highlighting the understanding that a monster was being created and the Constitution was to be the vital tool for protecting our individual rights and freedoms from government overreach and its insatiable appetite for power. Reiterating the primary purpose of government laid in our first cornerstone, now known simply as “The Declaration”.


We, as apeople and U.S. citizens, have been consistently persuaded to ignore this purpose of our Government. When was the last time you witnessed one of your leaders standing in the gap against government in defense of your rights? Or, more to the point, when was the last time YOU stood up to your elected or appointed representatives in defense of YOUR rights?


We are being inundated with sly, innuendoladen, messages from our government through all means of media and organizations. One of these nefarious messages seems intent on convincing us that we enjoy our liberties at the behest of government. Another, even more nefarious and less subliminal, is designed to convince us that we are not, and never have been, a Christian nation. Honest research, accompanied by a clear understanding of nineteenth century English language, (Webster’s 1828 Dictionary recommended) will remove all doubt about the falsehood of these claims. In fact, throughout the history of mankind, America is the ONLY nation in the history of the world to be founded under God and not a man. Israel is the only nation that comes close, it was founded BY God. This brings us back to the TRUE source of our National Power.


The previously encouraged honest research project should have uncovered what many have attempted to bury. The United States, AMERICA, is a covenant nation. Dedicated to God by the earliest settlers and by our leaders at its founding. Researched evidence will expose the correlation of our submission to God and our unparalleled rise to power on the world stage. Also exposed, will be our demise and its direct correlation to our rebellion and national rejection of God Almighty, breaking our covenant. Some maysay, “ah come on now, you really believe that God is in control?”


Yep, I do. Let’s look at a VERY modern example of this undeniable TRUTH.


Prior to 2019 El Salvador was a country in chaos. Crime was at an all time high, violent crime was out of control, cartels were controlling society. It had become known as the “murder capital of the world” much like multiple major cities in America today. In 2019, El Salvador’s Nayib Bukele was elected President. The first presidential candidate since 1989 to be elected not affiliated with one of the two major political parties in El Salvador. Since his arrival, Bukele has transformed El Salvador into “the safest country in the western hemisphere”. But HOW!? According to Bukele, in an interview with Tucker Carlson, they made an official plan, which was a lie, but they did one and it worked. That is what they told the media. That’s the “official” statement. The TRUTH is “it’s a miracle”. “It was an impossible mission, so we prayed.” Who was “we”? The security council of El Salvador. Not the nation, not just the President, but those who were in charge of the country and the effort to bring civility back to El Salvador. President Bukele declared the significance that led them to seek God’s help and favor was that this was a spiritual war that had manifested into the physical realm. The results confirm, beyond all doubt that God’s promise declared in 2Ch 7:14: “if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” As with all God’s promises, it is conditional. “IF


It’s up to We The People, we still have HOPE. Do we have the courage to be humble?
